Chloe Akrithaki

Chloe Akrithaki is a Greek visual artist based in Prague. Born in Berlin in 1969 into an artistic family, she spent her childhood between Greece and Germany. Upon graduation, she moved back to Berlin where she studied media design with focus in photography. She has been showcasing her work throughout various exhibitions in Europe. Since 2016 Chloe is also managing The Alexis Akrithakis Estate and curates exhibitions in Greece and abroad.

Konstantinos Archaniotis

Born in Athens,Greece in 1957. His major was in Business Administration at the University of Piraeus (1976-1980) and then he graduated from the Athens School of Fine Arts in 1985.

Tassos Babassis

Tasos Babassis was born in Piraeus and grew up in Athens. He studied architecture in Thessaloniki with D. Fatouros, Ch. Bouras, Lefakis and Sachinis.

While working as an architect he is also active in visual arts, as a set designer on theatre and television productions and in audio-visual applications. He has published a collection of drawings, has realized individual exhibitions and has taken part in many collective art shows. He has created video-art movies which have been presented in festivals.

Tasos Babassis has studied audio-visual cyclemoving in New York and Florida and has created the first cyclemoving in Greece with a cycle of 26 m diameter. 

He is a member of the art platforms Lo and Behold and Events’ Horizon and together with the latter’s members took part in the Art Athina show in 2014 and 2015. He is collaborating with the photography studio StudioQuinted and Ilardoteam in Varese and Milan.

Roila Bouzea

Roila Bouzea is a graduate of the Panteion University, Athens, and the Theatro Technis drama school, while she also studied art at the “Apopsi” Centre for Literature & Art. She has worked for state and private television, the European Cultural Centre of Delphi and elsewhere. Over the past 15 years she has concentrated on her painting career, taking part in various exhibitions

Dimitra Chanioti

Dimitra Chanioti was born in Paros island. She studied painting in Athens School of Fine Arts from 1998 to 2004 under G. Psyhopedis and photography under M. Babousis. She attended multimedia courses under E. Chatzisavva from 2001 to 2004. She took over as Artistic Director and taught at the Fine Arts Workshop of the Municipality of Paros from 2002 to 2006 (Network of Art Workshops in collaboration with the Greek Ministry of Culture). In 2005 she was appointed in Secondary Education and taught the lesson of Fine Arts. She attended the Postgraduate Programme "Education and Culture" of Harokopio University from 2009 to 2012. Since 2018 she has been teaching painting in Athens School of Fine Arts. She participated in many group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. Her works are in private collections in Greece and abroad.

Mary Chatzaki

Mary Chatzaki was born in Athens in 1952. She worked in the financial section of the administration of a big industrial company.

Since 2002 she has made her permanent home in Antiparos, which both she and her family have come to love like a second home.

Since the summer of 2012, in Antiparos, she has been the curator of anti art gallery.

 Since 2005 she has been systematically engaged in the art of photography. Through her photographs, she aims to help promote the beauties of Antiparos to Athens and the rest of Greece.

Since 2013 is a co-founder of Antiparos International Photo Festival at Kastro of Antiparos & since 2016 co-founder of International Association of Photography & Art of Antiparos.

Adam Czarnowski

Adam Czarnowski was born in London and educated at Christ Hospital and UCL. He lives on Paros, takes photographs and writes poetry.

Paminos Georgiadis

Paminos Georgiadis was born in Athens in 1936. He is an Artist,  Scenographer and Building Constructor. He has created numerous Lofts, Studios, Villas, Theatres and commercial establishments. He has signed theatrical plays as the production designer, and for many years owned his personal Gallery. His architecture office is active untill now.

Dimitra Katsaouni

She studied painting at Athens School of Fine Art.She has collaborated with artists in various fields such as theater, performance and video art. Her last solo exhibition was in May 2019 at “Gallery 7” in Athens.

Giorgos L. Kavalis

George Kavallis was born in Piraeus in 1969. He captures the light of the Cycladic landscape, photographs the people, the architecture as well as the archaeological sites of the islands and Greece in general. He uses for his prints the famous Hahnemuele FINEART Archival Grade papers preferred by Museums and Libraries worldwide and Piezography Archival B/W inks for digital printing, for finest resolution and toning fidelity.

 

 At the same time, he designs and builds houses in the Cyclades using the elements of tradition and austerity of Cycladic architecture combining them with the modern aesthetics and functional needs of a building now-a-days. 

 

He is co-founder along with his wife Maroulia Kontou of the Conservatory 'Mythodia' in Paros.

 

 He's member of the Paros Photo Team. He has participated in group exhibitions in Paros and elsewhere. He held his first solo exhibition in the Building of the Aegean Art Gallery in Paros in August-September 2017 with B/W and color photographs entitled "Poetry of Light". In 2019 he participated at the Exhibition " People of the Despotiko " at the Gallery 'Anti ' together with Mary Hatzaki which was then exhibited in the Hellenic American Union in Athens and the Consulate of Greece in New York. In the same year he was one of the 5 photographers whose work won the photographic competition for 'Kapetaneika', a demonstration race of traditional boats held in Paros and was exhibited in Antiparos during the Antiparos Photo Festival. 

 

He is vice president of IAPAA. INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART OF ANTIPAROS

Makis Kostikas

1939/Born in Athens/1963 Architect/2003-2020 Architect-bio farmer-winemaker-visual artist.

Kleopatra Moursela

Kleopatra Moursela was born in Athens in 1967. 

She works as an assistant professor at the Athens School of Fine Arts in the 11th Laboratory with the artistic director Vassilis Vlastaras.

She teaches “Drawing and Color Theory – Practice”.

She studied interior design, stage design and graphic arts at the Vakalo College of Arts (1986-1989) and she continued her studies in painting and engraving with professors P. Tetsis, R. Papaspyrou, Thanasis Exarchopoulos and Leoni Vidali at ASFA.

She attended at Edinburgh College of Art Herriot Watt University, with the ERASMUS program (1992).

She successfully completed the two years Master Degree at ASFA (2006).

She has made 6 solo exhibitions, and has participated in many group exhibitions such as the Biennale of Young Artists in Tunisia, Art Athina and many more until today.

She presents her work at the Gallery 7 in Athens.

She has been working in Secondary Education (1997) and since 2014, she was headed for Arts at the Institute of Educational Policy of the Ministry of Education in Greece.

Her Art works are in various collections.

She is collaborating with many publishing houses to illustrate literary books and magazines.

Matina Stavropoulou

Matina   Stavropoulou  was  born in Athens. In 1990 she graduated from  Aristotle university of Thessaloniki ( department  of  Fine and Applied Arts) . She continued her studies in Fac des Lettres , Poitiers (France) in 1991 . She has participated in several group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. The most exceptional of them are the following: 1993 ΄Dialogues’ Paris( France) ,2007 ‘Birthplace’, Benaki Museum , Athens ,2008 ‘Dionysius Solomos’, Judecca  Venice ,( Italy) As for her personal exhibitions, the most exceptional are :1993 Bologna ( Italy),1993 Saint Etienne , (France) .Since 1994 she is collaborating with Gallery 7, where she exhibits personally until today .In overall she has participated 5 times in Art Athina and she has exhibited 18 times with this collaborator ( last exhibition : March 2018,’Aimer c’est perdre-Camille Claudel’) / visual performance YUKI with the multi organizer musician George Katsanos  (November 2018).She has also designed costumes in the following exhibitions: 2009 Aida-Verdi - national opera of Athens, 2011 Tosca- Hamlet , Gallery 7,2015  Orlando( Virginia Woolf  )Gallery 7

 Her works belong to French Institute of Thessaloniki , Municipality of Niort ( France)  and to personal collections in Greece and abroad .

She lives and works in Athens.
